Carol D. Holler

Carol D. Holler, 72, of Woodside Avenue, Ellwood City, died Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Edison Manor Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born August 6, 1938 in Ellwood City, a daughter of the late Dallas and Ruth (Mulliney) Bookamer. She was married to the late Roy C. Holler who died October 2010. Mrs. Holler worked in home health care for many years, prior to that she worked in the Ellwood Knitting Mill. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and making crafts, especially Christmas decorations.
She is survived by one brother, Wayne Bookamer of Post Falls, ID, one sister, Jean Freed of New Castle, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Robert Bookamer, and one sister, Joann Cummings.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 4:00 P.M. at the First Church of God, Euclid Avenue. Pastor Bill Hunley will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
