Renaldo 'Reggie' Jannetti

Renaldo ‘Reggie’ Jannetti, Sr., 84, beloved Husband, Father, and Papa, died Thursday, January 13, 2011 at his home in New Castle, surrounded by his family. He was born February 21, 1926 in New Castle, a son of the late Domenic and Divina (Clementone) Jannetti. He married Mary Anne (Bova) Jannetti on April 30, 1960, she survives in New Catsle. Mr. Jannetti was a shipper for the Crane Co. retiring after many years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II serving in the Pacific with the Seabee's as a Petty Officer 3rd Class. Mr. Jannetti was a bartender at Troggio's for 18 years, and a member of the CG's and Eagles Club. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening, and cooking, and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by one son, Renaldo ‘Reggie’ Jannetti, Jr. and his wife Dina of Transfer, PA, two daughters, Devina Romeo and her husband David of Bessemer, and Renee Jannetti of Cranberry, one brother, Harry Jannetti of New Castle, five sisters, Mary Montonaro, Alvera Tedesko, Emma Tuscano, Nancy Gorski, and Elizabeth DiThomas, all of New Castle, and three grandchildren, Stefanie Romeo, Michael Romeo and wife Kylee, and Jared Romeo.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Guido Jannetti, and one sister, Margaret Valletta.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, on Friday, January 14, 2011 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform Military Funeral Rites at the funeral home at 9:15 A.M. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
