Mary Ann Thomas

Mary Ann Thomas, 84, of Golden Hill Nursing Home, formerly of Croton Ave., died Tuesday morning, April 3, 2007 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born January 1, 1923 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Columbus and Philomena (Cercelli) Thomas. Ms. Thomas retired from the shipping department of the Johnson Bronze after 40 years. She was a member of St. Vitus Church and AARP and enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening. Ms. Thomas was active in the Croton Community and local politics.
She is survived by one brother, Frank A. Thomas of New Castle, PA and a number of Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Great Nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Violet Kuczka and two brothers, Victor M. Thomas and Dr. Harry L. Thomas.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Friday, April 6, 2007 from 5 to 8 pm.
A Blessing Service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
