Esther Magno Heathcote
October 25, 1927 — January 23, 2011
Esther Magno Heathcote, 83, of Miller Avenue, entered into the presence of the Lord, Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Haven Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born October 25, 1927 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Nick and Antoinetta (Costello) Magno. Mrs. Heathcote was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking. She also enjoyed the outdoors and going to amusement parks. Mrs. Heathcote love being with her family.
She is survived by her former husband, Robert Heathcote of New Castle, one son, Mark Heathcote of New Castle, one step-daughter, Heather Palmiere of Springdale, PA, one brother, Joel Magno of New Castle, one grandson, Nicholas Heathcote of New Castle, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Rees, Helen DeFrank, and Catherine Giannone.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor Ron Eade of Church of Genesis will be officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
