Carmen Chill, 76, of 925 Mosser Dr., New Castle, died Thursday afternoon, April 5, 2007 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born March 15, 1931 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of Angelo and Theresa (DiBiase) Chill. His parents precede him in death. He married Patricia J. (Dominick) Chill on August 31, 1957, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Chill was a brick layer at the Shenango China retiring after 40 years. He was a member of the St. Vitus Church and a former member of the Eagles Club and the German Beneficial Union. Mr. Chill was an avid bowler and golfer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by, one son, Carmen P. Chill and his wife April of New Castle, PA, one brother, Richard Chill and wife Cheryl of Maricopa, AZ, one sister, Rosemarie Gibson and husband Dale of New Castle, PA one granddaughter, Nicole and two nephews, John Chill and Shaun Gibson.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Monday, April 9, 2007 from 5 to 8 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeralh home at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens.
