William B. Pisciuneri, 65, of Cranberry Twp., formerly of New Castle, died Thursday, February 10, 2011 at his home in Cranberry Twp. He was born July 8, 1945 in New Castle, a son of the late Rocco and Minnie (Stoner) Pisciuneri. He has been married to Debra (Rubeis) Pisciuneri for 14 years, she survives in Cranberry Twp. Mr. Pisciuneri was a Senior Vice President and Financial Advisor for Hefren-Tillotson, Inc. in Wexford, PA. He was previously part-owner of Rocky II Super Market in Shenango Twp., which later became Giant Eagle, with his brother James Pisciuneri. Mr. Pisciuneri was a graduate of Youngstown State University in Political Science. He was an avid golfer, Steelers fan, and Pitt Panther fan, and enjoyed traveling, woodworking, and the theater. Mr. Pisciuneri was a radio show host for financial advice on WKST. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and spending time at his second home in Charleston, SC.
He is survived by two daughters, Melissa Librizzi and husband Sam, and Stacey Ferrese all of New Castle, one son, William Pisciuneri and wife Theresa of Moon Twp., PA, two step-sons, William Mancino and wife Dusty of New Castle, and Christopher Mancino and wife Stacy of Moon Twp., PA, two brothers, James Pisciuneri of Youngstown, OH and Rocco Pisciuneri, Jr. of Raleigh, NC, two sisters, Connie Young of Hubbard, OH, and Roseann Lucas of Edinburg, PA, and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 13, 2011 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, New Castle, PA.
Blessing services will be held Monday, February 14, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Sean Francis of St. Vitus Church will be officiating.
