Audrey J. Steele, 77, of Lawrence Manor, died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born May 22, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois. Mrs. Steele was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking, and shopping.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda M. Strayer and her husband George, and Audrenette Kelley and her husband Frank, all of New Castle, one sister, Jennie Bartelick of Chicago, IL, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, Samuel Boyer, and her 2nd husband, Audre Steele.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M.
Blessing services will be held Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Sean Francis of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
