Jennie Vincent, 92, of Fairmont Avenue, formerly of Fern Street, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born February 11, 1919 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Mike and Philomena (D'Aninicia) Fagnilli. She was married to Adam ‘Emmer’ Vincent who died August 13, 1970. Mrs. Vincent worked in the Register and Recorders office handling Inheritance Tax for 12 years. She was a member of Primetimers, a volunteer for LANCOM, and enjoyed music. She was also very spiritual and loved her family and spending time with them.
She is survived by one daughter, Karen Peluso and her husband Ronald of New Castle, one son, Dennis Vincent and wife Patty of New Castle, six grandchildren, Rene Behler, Michele Freer, Richard Peluso, Geoffrey Peluso, Allyson Mondora, and Adam Vincent, and eight great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Robert E. Vincent, one brother Walter Fagnilli, and four sisters, Julia DeLoia, Mary Micco, Ann Jacobell, and Minnie Heath.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, on Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 4, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 A.M. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
