Frank A. ‘Hubby’ Rizzo, 86, of Golden Hill Nursing Home, died Wednesday morning, April 25, 2007 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born July 9, 1920 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of Alfred and Charlotte (Colella) Scungio. His parents precede him in death. Mr. Rizzo was a dealer and pit boss at the Desert Inn Casino in Las Vegas for many years. He was an Army veteran of World War II serving in Europe.
He is survived by one daughter, Charlotte Viggiano and her husband Victor of New Castle, PA, one son, Frank Scungio and his wife Claudia of Savannah, GA, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John Scungio, and his sister Jenny Marcella.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 12:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Funeral Arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
