William L. Kerr

William L. Kerr, 59, formerly of Frew Mill Rd., died Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. He was born June 26, 1951 in New Castle, a son of the late Robert Kerr and Joann (Cragle) Kerr. His mother survives in New Castle. Mr. Kerr was a crane operator for many years working with numerous area companies and he enjoyed the outdoors.
He is survived by two daughters, Amy J. (Kerr) O'Neil of New Castle, and Barbara Kerr of Virginia, one son, Douglas Kerr of Virginia, two brothers, Robert Kerr, Jr. of Ohio, and Edward Kerr of New Castle, two sisters, Deborah Webster of New Castle, and Katherine Zimnick of Florida, and four grandchildren, Devan Amabile, Christian Amabile, Aiden O'Neil, and Austin Kerr.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Jamie Kerr, one son William L. George, one brother, Ronny Kerr, and one sister, Nancy Arena.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, on Monday, March 14, 2011 from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 14, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Matthew Bupp will be officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery.
