Rose A. Angelo

Rose A. Angelo, 92, of Golden Hill Nursing Home, formerly of Warren Avenue, died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born August 4, 1918 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Sam and Consiglia (Natale) DeAngelis. She was married to the late Sam Angelo who died in 1994. Mrs. Angelo was a homemaker and was a member of St. Joseph Church. She was a charter member of the Ladies of the Dukes, a member of the Mary Martha Guild, St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary, the Ladies of the Knights of Columbus, and the Eagles Club Auxiliary.

She is survived by on son, Sam Angelo, Jr. of Waterford, MI, two grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Nick and Eugene DeAngelis, and three sisters, Jennie Alberico, Louise Gentile, and Margaret Gardiol..

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.

Blessing services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Steve Palsa of St. Joseph Church will be officiating. Burial will be at Resurrection Mausoleum.
