Alexander Pagley, Sr., 65, of 5th Street, Bessemer, died Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at his home in Bessemer. He was born May 19, 1945 in New Castle, the son of the late Domenick and Rose (DeFrank) Pagley. He married Tammy L. (Clark) Pagley on February 16, 2003, she survives in Bessemer. Mr. Pagley was a machine operator at Westinghouse for 15 years. He was a member of the Jagielly club and enjoyed horses and car shows.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by nine children, Alex Pagley, Jr. and wife Renee of New Castle, PA, Lisa Heasley and husband Scott of Bessemer, Rhonda McIntyre and companion John Preisner of Hillsville, Anita Suszynski and husband Jim of Volant, Domenick Pagley and companion Brooke Donohue of New Castle, Mark Pagley of New Castle, Brian Pagley of New Castle, Rick Pagley of Bessemer, and Austin Pagley of Bessemer, one sister, Sandra Abels of New Castle, twenty-one grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death one son, Jeff Natale, one daughter, Treece Shellenberger, and two sisters, Margaret McCormick, and Sophie Rapko.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, on Friday, April 15, 2011 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 15, 2011 at 8:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor John Coomber of Grace Bible Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
