Mary P. Magliery

Mary P. Magliery, 93, of Roberts Lane, New Castle, died Tuesday afternoon, May 15, 2007 at Overlook Nursing Home in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. She was born May 27, 1913 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Anthony and Angela (Russo) Panella. She was married to Thomas John Magliery who died on January 14, 1983. Mrs. Magliery was a cook at Troggio's Restaurant and St. Francis Hospital for many years. She also worked as a seamstress at Penny's and the Ladies Store.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Arlene) Fontana of New Castle, PA, one son, Frank Magliery of Greenwood, IN, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Pete, Mike, William, James, Joe and Albert Panella, and three sisters, Antoinetta Rainey, Theresa Carbone, and Albrina Senchack.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Thursday, May 17, 2007 from 5 pm to 8 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 18, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Camillus Church. Father Phil Farrell of St. Camillus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
