John E. McCormick, 65, Allen St., New Castle, died Tuesday morning, May 15, 2007 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born June 11, 1941 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of the late Daniel and Margaret (McCaskey) McCormick. He was married to Doreen F. (Wyza) McCormick on May 17, 2000, she survives in New Castle. Mr. McCormick worked for Rockwell International for 25 years and then worked for the AK Steel Co. in Sharon for 18 years. He enjoyed animals, especially his dog 'Tippie'.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by, two sons, Mark McCormick of New Castle, PA and John McCormick, Jr. of New Castle, PA, one sister, Marjory Covert of New Castle, PA and seven grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Daniel McCormick.
