Josephine M. Saesan

Josephine M. Saesan, 85, of Golden Hill Nursing Home, formerly of Vista South, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Golden Hill Nursing Home.

She was born April 4, 1926 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Domenick and Marianne (DeVenturo) Seberino. She was married to the late Arnold S. Saesan who died July 3, 1998. Mrs. Saesan worked as a liner at Shenango China for 10 years, she also worked at the Romanian Club and Golden Hill Nursing Home. She enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping, swimming, and being in the sun. Mrs. Saesan also enjoyed playing the guitar and accordian, and sang for the USO and at Grace Bible Church.

She is survived by four children, Doug A. Saesan and his wife Kathy of Greensboro, PA, Raymond A. Saesan of New Castle, Mariann S. Staph and husband Richard of New Castle, and Vicci L. Saesan and her partner Annemarie of Wheeling, IL, eight grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three sisters, Bertha Leone, Pauline Rosse, and Elizabeth DiBiase, her twin sister, and one granddaughter.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 17,2011 from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 5:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
