Marian E. Stafford

Marian E. Stafford, 89, formerly of Dewey Ave., New Castle, died Saturday, May 26, 2007 at Edison Manor in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born May 14, 1918 in New Castle, PA a daughter of Charles ‘Herbert’ and Ethel (Schuler) Teece, her parents precede her in death. She was married to LeRoy F. Stafford, who died August 30, 1996. Mrs. Stafford was a receptionist at Drs. French-Wright-Ginsburg for 9 years. She was a member of the Neshannock United Presbyterian Church and the Wimodausis Club. Mrs. Stafford enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband and had visited all 50 states and parts of Canada and Mexico.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dyke (Jeanette) Mort of University Park, FL, one sister, Vera McCullough Hepler of New Castle, three grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Lee Stafford and two brothers, Phillip and Fred Teece.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 1:00 pm at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Gary Waguespack of Neshannock United Presbyterian Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery.
