William Turner, 70, of Edison Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Ellwood City, died Saturday, June 11, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio. He was born June 21, 1940 in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania the son of the late John and Martha (Mortenson) Turner. Mr. Turner was an electrician at Babcock & Wilcox and at various other companies for many years. He was a Navy veteran and enjoyed playing basketball and watching movies.

He is survived by one sister, Mary Ann Andrews of Oak Village, OH and two nieces.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Thursday, June 16, 2011 from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M.

Blessing services will be held Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Ellwood City.
