Harold D. Snowberger

Harold D. Snowberger, 77, of Firehall Rd., died Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Edison Manor Nursing Home in New Castle. He was born February 6, 1934 in Etna, Pennsylvania a son of the late John and Alberta (Scholl) Snowberger. Mr. Snowberger was a driver for Purolator Courier for 18 years. He was a veteran of the Army Reserves. He was lovingly known to all as “Uncle”.
He is survived by a nephew and two nieces who he raised, Daniel Burns of New Castle, Patricia Miller of Ellwood City, PA, and Cathy Russi of Harmony, PA, a number of addition nieces and nephews, and a number of “grandchildren and great grandchildren”.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Snowberger, and five sisters, Viola Mackey, Dorothy Herbert, Louise Volksic, Eda Leasure, and Lillian Richal.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
