Jennie Russo

Jennie Russo, 78, of Fields Drive, Died the morning of June 8, 2007, in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born April 9, 1929, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Philomena Arone Morgan. She was married to Nick A. Russo, Jr. for 58 years. He survives. Mrs. Russo enjoyed slots machines, cooking and homemaking. She was a member of the St. Joseph the Worker Church.
In addition to her husband, survivors include three sons, John A. Russo and Randy N. Russo, both of New Castle, and Robin Russo of Springrove, PA.; two brothers, Walter Morgan and Dominick Morgan, both of New Castle; one sister, Mary Plink of New Castle; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Anthony Morgan and Frank Morgan; one sister, Josephine Simunaci; and a grandson, Matthew Russo.
Calling hours are 5 pm to 8 pm Monday, June 11, 2007 at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph the Worker Church. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
