Norma J. Powell

Norma J. Powell, 67, of Euclid Avenue, died Sunday, July 10, 2011 at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born March 4, 1944 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Russell and Elnora (Shaffer) Powell. Ms. Powell worked for Advanced Information Systems in Columbus, OH in sales and computer troubleshooting. She was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and enjoyed doing and making crafts.
She is survived by one son, Michael J. Mastropietro and his wife Jessica of New Castle, one brother, William Powell of New Castle, and one grandson, Tyler Mastropietro of New Castle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Mastropietro, one son, John Mastropietro, Jr., one brother, Richard Powell, and one sister, Sherrelle Powell.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Oak Park Cemetery. Rev. Ray Linebaugh of Christian Life Center will be officiating. Burial will be in Oak Park Cemetery.
