Dorothy M. Hardy

Dorothy M. Hardy, 81, of Hickory Twp., died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 in her home.
She was born April 16, 1929 in New Castle a daughter of the late Walter and Bertha (Grimm) Schweikert. She was married to Charles Hardy who died in 1999. Mrs. Hardy was a pharmacy technician at Jameson Memorial Hospital retiring after 20 years.
She is survived by four children, Edward Hardy and his wife Susan of Gibsonia, PA, Celeste A. Bowen of New Castle, Karen Hildebrand and her husband George of New Castle, and Denise Tritt of New Castle, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, her companion Edward Ellison, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by twelve brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 31, 2011 from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. and 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 1, 2011 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Joseph the Worker Church. Father Victor Molka will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
