Constance 'Connie' R. Domenick

Constance ‘Connie’ R. Domenick, 82, of Meadowview Blvd., formerly of Madison Ave., New Castle, died Saturday morning, June 23, 2007 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born August 26, 1924 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Frank and Elvera (Caizzia) Merlino. She was married to Louis ‘Fatty’ Domenick who died on March 8, 2002. Mrs. Domenick worked in Central Supply at Jameson Memorial Hospital retiring after 25 years. She also worked as a waitress for many years at the Castleton Hotel and the New Castle Country Club. During World War II, Mrs. Domenick worked as a welder in New Castle. She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Parish and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She loved all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and spending time with them.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John (Mary Lou) Morgan of New Castle, PA, one son, William ‘Billy Bo’ Domenick of Vero Beach, FL, two sisters, Marie Merlino of New Castle, PA, and Stella McLean of Boardman, OH, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Guy Merlino and Nicholas Merlino, and three sisters, Susie Creature, Josephine Relo, and Linda Maciarello.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 from 5 pm to 8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Lucy Church. Father Kenneth Keene of St. Vincent de Paul Parish will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Lucy Cemetery.
