Donna J. O'Laughlin

Donna J. O'Laughlin, 69, of W. Moody Avenue, died Saturday, August 27, 2011 at her residence in New Castle.

She was born July 3, 1942 in New Castle, a daughter of the late James and Velma (Shoaff) Butera. She was married to Harold L. O'Laughlin who died March 14, 2005. Mrs. O'Laughlin worked for Airway Luggage and the Croton Bakery. She also enjoyed crochetting and had a little business call Donna's Crafts for many years. She was a supporter of the Breast Cancer and Autism Societies and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two children, Michael J. O'Laughlin and his wife Jodie, and Heidi J. Fritz and her husband Richard, all of New Castle, one brother, James S. Butera of New Castle, three sisters, Antoinette E. Mangino, Patty Regan, and Bonnie Schweinsberg, all of New Castle, and four grandchildren, Michael O'Laughlin, II, Sarah O'Laughlin, Richard Fritz, Jr., and Brandon Fritz.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Marone.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 30, 2011 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will officiate. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
