Dorothy O'Brien Renner, 95, of Wilmington Rd., formerly of E. Northview Ave., died Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Jameson Care Center. She was born February 28, 1916 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Harold and Ora Belle (Lyons) Dayton. She was first married to John O’Brien, who died November 28, 1979. She was then married to William Renner who died in April of 2004. Mrs. O'Brien Renner was a typist for Liberty Mutual Insurance Company retiring after 20 years. She was a member of the Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church, Wymodausis, Primetimers, the Red Hat Society, and AARP. She enjoyed reading, bingo, and dancing.
She is survived by one son, John ‘Jack’ O'Brien and his wife Peggy of Butler, PA, one daughter, Bev Clark and her husband Carl of New Galilee, thirteen grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia O’Brien Park, three brothers, Donald, James, and Bill Dayton, one sister, Anna Abraham, and one great grandson.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Thursday, October 27, 2011 from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 28, 2011 at 11:30 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Chris Weichman of Clen-Moore Presbyterian Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
