Mary Marie Denny

Mary Marie Denny, 88, of Martha Street, died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born June 8, 1923 in New Castle, a of the late daughter of Edward Gust and Ellen Olive (Pearson) Darwin. She was married to Lawrence J. Denny who died October 5, 2011. Mrs. Denny was a lifelong member of Hoover Heights Christian Missionary Alliance and a member of the A.J. Gooch Class at Hoover Heights Church. She enjoyed gardening, canning, and visiting with family and friends.
She is survived by two daughters, Marlene A. Denny of Erie County, PA, and Lorraine J. Krueger of New Castle, one sister, Mabel Ruth McCollums of New Castle, three grandchildren, Seth R. Krueger, Benjamin Krueger, and Jennifer Susko, and one great grandson, Gage Krueger.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Charles Darwin, and one sister, Viola Mae Darwin.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Monday, November 7, 2011 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 7, 2011 at 11:30 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor Larry Llewellyn of Hoover Heights Christian Missionary Alliance will be officiating. Burial will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens.
