William B. 'Buddy' Green

William B. Green, 82, of Vista South, died Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at his home in New Castle. He was born December 16, 1928 in New Castle, the son of the late Newton and Elizabeth (Richman) Green. Mr. Green was a steel worker working for Republic Steel Campbell Works retiring after almost 20 years. He was an Army veteran of Korean War serving with the 101st Airborne as a paratrooper. Mr. Green was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bingo.
He is survived by one son, William J. Green, Jr. of Brookfield, OH, two daughters, Patricia M. Snyder of Sacramento, CA, and Dee E. Cioffi of New Castle, and two grandchildren, Roger Snyder and Michelle Cioffi.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Walter, Leroy, and Lloyd Green, two sisters, Daisy Marks and Dolly Zeelsdorf.
Private funeral services were held at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor Deborah Flint officiated. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
