Linda R. Tanner Myers, 69, of Independence Lane, died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was born August 21, 1942 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Doris (Shoaff) Tanner. She was married to Keith Myers who died September 1986. Mrs. Myers was a secretary for Fisher Brothers at the Corporate Office retiring after 25 years. She was a member of the German Cultural Society. She enjoyed cooking, camping, and spending time with family.
She is survived by one brother, Larry L. Tanner and his wife June of Portersville, PA, one sister, Debbie J. Kale and her husband Duke of New Castle, and her nephew, Gregory Tanner of Erie, PA.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM .
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery.
