Antonette M. Larocca

Antonette M. LaRocca, 86, of N. Jefferson St., died Friday, December 2, 2011 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. She was born April 28, 1925 in Edinburg, a daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary (Minetti) Chiero. She was married to Leonard F. LaRocca who died March 17, 1972. Mrs. LaRocca was a cook at the New Castle School of Trades and Mike Isabella's Restaurant, now Edward's, for over 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by three children, Mary C. Hoback and husband Larry of Bremerton, WA, Beverly A. Hutchison and husband Dalton of Monroe, NC, and John S. LaRocca and wife Gretchen of New Castle, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ralph, Pete, Bruno, and Sam Chiero, and two sisters, Annie, and Josephine Chiero.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 from 10 AM to 12 PM.
Blessing services will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. at the William F. & Roger M DeCarbo Funeral Home, Inc. Father Frank Almade of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
