Doris M. Gambone

Doris M. Gambone, 83, of Golden Hill Nursing Home, died Friday, December 23, 2011 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. She was born April 17, 1928 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Oliver and Lena (Schultz) Stotler. She was married to the late Anthony Gambone who died in 1981. Mrs. Gambone was a nurses’ aide at a number of area nursing homes.
She is survived by four children, Marlene Moyer of Carrollton, OH, Anthony Gambone of Ft. Myers, FL, Naomi Bendroth of Canton, OH, and Toni Gambone of New Castle, one sister, Naomi Hall of New Castle, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three infant brother, and three sisters, Vonetta Stetar, Evelyn Stotler, and Emma Langfity.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 30, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Ohio.
