Albert ‘Bucky’ Tuminello, 79, of Seneca St., Niles, OH, formerly of New Castle, died Saturday morning, August 4, 2007 at Autumn Hill Care Center in Niles, Ohio. He was born January 24, 1928 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of the late Vncenzo and Concetta (Gambri) Tuminello. Mr. Tuminello was a self-employed mason for many years. He was a World War II veteran of the Navy. He was a Seaman First Class on submarines in the Atlantic Theater.
He is survived by one daughter, Mary Jo Demoke of Pittsburgh, PA, two sons, James Tuminello of Boardman, OH, and Joseph Tuminello of Mercer, PA, one brother, Anthony Tuminello of New Castle, PA, four sisters, Minnie DeMonaco of West Pittsburg, PA, Josephine Lombardo of New Castle, PA, Margaret Mills of New Castle, PA, and Anna Mae Piscuneri of New Castle, PA, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John Tuminello.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 from 5 pm to 8 pm.
A Blessing Service will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Park Cemetery. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform Military Funeral Rites at the Funeral Home.
