Geraldine E. Majocka

Geraldine E. Majocka, 88, of West Pittsburg Rd., died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. She was born March 26, 1923 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Edward and Evelyn (Swogger) Stephenson. She was married to the late Stanley J. Mojocka. Mrs. Majocka was a homemaker and a member of St. Vitus Church. She was also a member of Ladies Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, Auxiliary of the United Transportation Union, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Eagles Club.
She is survived by four children, Kathy Allen and her husband James of Pulaski, Gretchen Dottle and her husband Ricky of New Castle, Stanley ‘Skip’ Majocka, Jr. and his wife Beverly of New Castle, and Michael Majocka and his wife Kimberly of New Castle, seven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth ‘Sally’ Eicholtz, June Chambers-Eledge, and Mary Szeszko, and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Saturday, December 31, 2011 from 11 AM to 1 PM.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Grace Bashman of Jameson Hospice will be officiating. Entombment will be in the Resurrection Mausoleum.
