Josephine M. Cambroto, 95, of Golden Hill Nursing Home, formerly of Euclid Ave., died Friday morning, March 25, 2005 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born February 5, 1910 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the daughter of Ralph and Rose (Bosco) Riggio, they precede her in death. She was married to Joseph R. Cambroto who died September 12, 1986. Mrs. Cambroto was a sales clerk at the May Department Store in New York for 4 years and Strouss Department Store in New Castle for 4 years. She was a member of St. Vitus Church and the Cavalier Club. Mrs. Cambroto enjoyed needle point and cross stitching and loved cooking and baking.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Dolores A. Millemoth of Margate, FL and Marcy Sellard of North Lauderdale, FL, 3 sons, Joseph R. Cambro, Jr., of New Castle, PA, Ralph E. Cambro of New Castle, PA, and Lee A. Cambro of Brooklyn, NY, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an Infant Son .
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6-8 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 31, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father John Petrarulo of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
