Clara E. Leese

Clara E. Leese, 68, of 408 Connor Ave., New Castle, died Tuesday morning, August 7, 2007 at Silver Oaks Nursing Home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born December 5, 1938 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late John and Audrey (McPherson) Dix. She was married to James E. Leese, who died on August 6, 1987. Mrs. Leese was a cashier at the East Washington St. Tic Toc for 20 years. She then worked at the Dollar General on State Street and Butler Ave. for 8 years. Mrs. Leese enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and close friends.

She is survived by three sons, Thomas S. Leese and wife Nanette of New Castle, Jimmy R. Leese and wife Megan of Beaver Falls, PA and Russ E. Leese and wife Mary of Sunny Vale, CA, and three grandchildren, Brian Smith, Eric Leese and Stephanie Leese.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Marcy M. Smith, her brother William Dix and her granddaughter, Julia Leese.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Sunday, August 12, 2007 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 13, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Gary Clark will be officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Park Cemetery.
