Peggy J. Jackson Defonso

Peggy J. Jackson DeFonso, 67, of W. Sheridan Avenue, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at her home in New Castle. She was born November 26, 1944 in Corry, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Kenneth and Emiline (Drake) Kirch. Peggy was a secretary for District Justice Zedeker and District Justice Reed retiring after 26 years. She enjoyed gardening, her four dogs, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by four children, Jeffrey M. Jackson and his wife Patricia of Beaver Falls, PA, Timothy S. Jackson and his wife Arlene of Wampum, PA, Lisa C. Jackson Ash of New Castle, and Mike P. Jackson and his wife Tammy of Mt. Jackson, PA, one brother, Robert Kirch of Clearwater, FL, one sister, Barbara Grenz of Corry, PA, fifteen grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, on Friday, January 6, 2012 from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 6, 2012 at 8:00 P.M. at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, Inc. Norman Conklin, Peggy’s cousin, will be officiating. Burial will be in Sylvania Hills Cemetery, New Brighton, PA.
