Leon A. Slodowy, Jr.

Leon A. Slodowy, Jr., 52, of Moravia St. Ext., died Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at his home in New Castle. He was born January 16, 1959 in New Castle, the son of Leon and Virginia (Dombeck) Slodowy, his parents survive in New Castle. Mr. Slodowy was a metal printer for US Can retiring after 25 years. He applied to be a member of the Iron Dukes Motorcycle Club and enjoyed traveling, camping, and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy A. (Callahan) Slodowy who he married September 17, 2004 of New Castle, and one sister, Helen Slodowy of New Castle.
Blessing services will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 11:30 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Sean Francis of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in Sts. Philip and James Cemetery, New Castle.
