Ida Veronesi, 83, of Harlansburg Road, died Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. She was born in Edinburg on July 17, 1928, a daughter of the late Frank and Philomena (Storti) Vignoli. She was married to Joseph A. Veronesi, who died July 2005. Mrs. Veronesi was a cook and waitress at the Bessemer Croation Club retiring after 20 years. She was a member of Mary Mother of Hope Parish.

She is survived by two children, Joseph C. Veronesi and his wife Patty of New Castle, and Lorrane Lombardo and her husband Jim of New Castle, one sister, Jean Curran of New Castle, four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Samuel, Albert and Phillip Vignoli, and two sisters, Angeline Pagley and Viola Mehocic.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 9:00 AM at Mary Mother of Hope Church. Father Victor J. Molka will officiate. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
