Joseph Thomas Dean

Joseph Thomas Dean, 27, of N. Cedar St., New Castle, died Thursday, February 2, 2012 at his home in New Castle. He was born October 1, 1984 in New Castle, a son of Thomas J. Dean and Janice (Conte) Jackman. His parents survive in New Castle. Joseph was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church and enjoyed sports and spending time with his family, especially his daughter.

He is survived by one daughter, Emma Jo Dean of Hermitage, PA, two brothers, Matthew J. Dean of Aliquippa, PA, and Jonathan R. Dean of New Castle, his grandmother, Anna (Lepore) Conte of New Castle, and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert & Irene Dean, and his grandfather Robert Conte.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 3 PM to 6 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 6, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph the Worker Church. Father Frank Almade of St. Vincent de Paul Parish will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 AM. Burial will be in the St. Lucy Cemetery.
