Ronald ‘Doc’ DeFiore, 83, of Saxonburg, PA, formerly of W. Fairmont Ave., New Castle, died Monday morning, April 11, 2005 at his home in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania. He was born December 13, 1921 in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania the son of Fred and Viola (Barnhart) DeFiore, they precede him in death. He married the former Jean E. LaMarca DeFiore, who died November 1998. Mr. DeFiore was a tool machinist at the Johnson Bronze in New Castle retiring after 40 years of service. He was a member of the St. Camillus Church, the Johnson Club, Croatian Club, and the Eagles Club, were he was very active and served as club secretary. He was also a trustee at the Greater New Castle Community Federal Credit Union.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Ledia) Bzorek of Saxonburg, PA, one sister, Pauline Memo of New Castle, 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley & John DeFiore, and two sisters, Madeline Gaibis and Mary Elizabeth White.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5-8 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at 11:30 A.M. at St. Camillus Church. Father Phil Farrell of St. Camillus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:00 am. Burial will be in the St. Lucy's Cemetery.
