Victor 'Tag' Nativio

Victor ‘Tag’ Nativio, 67, of Pin Oak Dr., New Castle, died Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. He was born January 31, 1945 in New Castle, a son of the late Victor and Aileen (DelRosso) Nativio. Mr. Nativio was the head of maintenance at Crestview Gardens for the last 12 years. He was former owner and operator of Nativio’s Music, Yearages II, Tags Lounge, the Coppa Club, Tags Nuts, and Bugs R Us Extermination. He was a member of the Dukes Club, the Sons of Italy, Cally Club and the Jagaliey Club and he loved spending time at Geneva-on-the-Lake.

He is survived by two sons, Daniel J. Nativio and his wife Stacy, and Jason A. Nativio and his wife Jennifer, all of New Castle, PA, one brother, Anthony Nativio of New Castle, two sisters, Sandra Bradley and her husband Harry of Massachusetts, and Caroline Nativio and her long time companion Harry Hedglin of New Castle, PA, seven grandchildren, Nathan, Erica, Crista, Jeremy, Jason, Matthew and Katherine Nativio, his former wife, Alba (DeLuca) Nativio of New Castle, his former long time companion, Patty Furillo of New Castle, his brother-in-law, Joe Lamb, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Nativio, and one sister, Shirley Lamb.


Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 5 PM to 8 PM, and Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 11 AM to 12 PM.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Frederick Gilbert of Independent Methodist Church will be officiating. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
