Rose Marie Tedescko

Rose Marie Tedescko, 71, of Frew Mill Rd., New Castle died Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born December 13, 1940 in New Castle a daughter of the late Charles and Phyllis (Maciarello) Tedescko. Miss Tedescko was a surgical nurses aide at St. Francis Hospital retiring after 49 years. She was a member of St. Vitus Church and was very active in church and church functions. She also enjoyed cooking, baking and crocheting, and was an avid local sports fan. Most of all she loved spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by one sister, Charlene Stone of Tampa, FL and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue, on Friday, March 2, 2012 from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, March 2, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Vitus Church. Father Sean Francis of St. Vitus Church will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:30 AM. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
