Anna M. Freese

Anna M. Freese, 83, of N. Mercer St., died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born June 14, 1928 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Anthony and Philomena (Conti) DeAugustine. She married Charles F. Freese on June 21, 1949, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Freese was a homemaker and a member of St. Camillus Church. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, and cleaning house and she loved her great granddaughter.

She is survived by one daughter, Karen Dostilio of New Castle, one brother, Lou DeAugustine of New Castle, two sisters, Mary McCormick and Joanne Montini, both of New Castle, three grandchildren, Lorrie Gibson and her husband Brian, Joseph Dostilio and his wife Lena, and Charles Dostilio, and her great granddaughter, Loralei Gibson.

She was preceded in death by six brothers, Marion, Stephen, Anthony, Frank, Alfred, and Albert DeAugustine, and two sisters, Verna Fulena, and Nettie DeAugustine.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 5 PM to 8 PM

Blessing services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Thomas J. Lewandowski of St. Camillus Church will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
