John Cimperman, 61, of S. Ray St., died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Butler Veterans Medical Center in Butler. He was born October 28, 1950 in New Castle, a son of the late John and Lillian (Mathews) Cimperman. Mr. Cimperman was an assembly line worker and grinder at Rockwell Axel for almost 20 years. He was an Army veteran. Mr. Cimperman was a member of the Moose Club, Eagles Club, Croation Club and VFW and enjoyed the outdoors.
He is survived by one son, John C. Cimperman of Pulaski, PA, one daughter, Brandi Cimperman of New Castle, two brothers, Chuck Cimperman of Wysox, PA, and Rick Cimperman of Butler, PA, one sister, Mary Ann Snyder of Edinburg, and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Stutz.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 1 PM to 2 PM.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dominick Cestrone will be officiating. The New Castle Area Honor Guard will perform Military Funeral Rites at the funeral home.
