Martha J. De Norcey, of New Castle, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at her home in New Castle. She was born in New Castle, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Pippin) Dudash. She was married to the late Geno De Norcey who died December 28, 1994. Mrs. De Norcey was a homemaker and a member of Mary Mother of Hope Parish. She worked as a waitress for a short time at a number of area restaurants. She enjoyed entertaining and making people laugh, reading, music, animals and she was a great cook.
She is survived by one daughter, Terry Gene De Norcey of New Castle, two sisters, Margaret Proctor and Elizabeth Williams both of New Castle, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers, John, Nick, Frank, Ernest, Eugene, Elmer, and George Dudash, and four sisters, Mary Dixon, Irene Klenotic, Verna Hicks, and Goldie Fette.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Friday, April 20, 2012 from 5PM to 8 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 9:00 A.M. at Mary Mother of Hope Church. Father Victor J. Molka, Jr. of Mary Mother of Hope Parish will be officiating. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 8:30 AM. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
