Edith A. Yargo

Edith A. Yargo, 92, formerly of Pulaski Road, died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle. She was born October 25, 1919 in Volant, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Hugh Clyde and Ethel Goldie (Clark) Stuart. She was married to Henry J. Yargo who died June 19, 1990. Mrs. Yargo was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, doing latch hook, reading and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by three daughters, Donna Reeher of New Castle, Peggy Papi and her husband Dario of New Castle, and Mary Jane Puz and her husband Darl of Monaca, PA, five grandsons, and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Jacobs, one sister, Violet Stuart, and one grandson.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 4 PM to 8 PM.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor Kenneth Meyer of First Assembly of God and Rev. David Frank, nephew of the deceased of Erie, PA, will be officiating. Burial will be in the Plain Grove Cemetery in Plain Grove.
