Barbara J. Tervo

Barbara J. Tervo, 57, of 510 Gilmore RD, New Castle, died Tuesday morning, October 16, 2007 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born October 21, 1949 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Kenneth and Helen (Peters) Glitch. She was married to William J. Tervo on March 8, 1980, he survives in New Castle. Mrs. Tervo was a hostess at Sghetti's Restaurant and previously worked at Airway Luggage and Popos Restaurant in New Castle. She enjoyed reading and cross stitching and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by, three sons, William E. Tervo of Hebron, IN, Daniel T. Tervo of Clermont, FL, and Timothy A. Tervo of New Castle, PA, two brothers, William Glitch of Norfolk, VA and Mark Glitch of New Castle, PA, four sisters, Cheryl Reid, Marcia Innocent, and Mary Jo Leitera all of New Castle, PA, and Germaine Smith of Sharon, PA and two grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Kenneth A. Glitch.

Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Thursday, October 18, 2007 from 5 pm to 8 pm.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 19, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Rev. Dennis Bupp will be officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Park Cemetery.
