Matthew Stephen Criscito, 22, of E. Fairmont Ave., died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle. He was born October 23, 1989 in Kennesaw, Georgia the son of James and Kimberly (Shipman) Criscito. His parents survive in New Castle. Matt worked for Kopple Steel for 1 year. He loved basketball and sports, and loved playing softball and Xbox. Matt also loved spending time with his girlfriend Camille and Kobe his dog, his parents, family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all.
He is also survived by his grandmothers, Alma Criscito of New Castle, and Susan Shipman of New Castle, and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Shipman.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Pastor Tim Klein of Solid Rock Ministries will be officiating. Memorial contributions can be sent to the Child Advocacy Center, 1000 S. Mill St., New Castle, PA 16101.
