Francis Fazio

Francis Fazio, 75, of Blane Street, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 15, 2012, at his son's home with his wife, four children, and grandchildren by his side.
He was born June 19, 1937 in New Castle, the son of the late Rocco and Virginia (Frank) Fazio. He was married to Gloria M. (Barletto) Fazio for 50 years, she survives in New Castle. Mr. Fazio retired after 25 years from LTV Steel in Youngstown, OH as a pipe fitter. He then retired after 25 years from General Motors in Lordstown, OH as a pipe fitter. He was an Army veteran. Mr. Fazio loved wine making, sports and watching his grandchildren.
He is survived by four children, James Fazio and his companion Thom, Rocco Fazio and his wife Donna, Joe Fazio and his companion Diana, and Lisa M. Fazio and her fiance Denny, all of New Castle, one brother, Joe Fazio of Louisville, CO, two sisters, Angeline Santo and Rose Moss of New Castle, and two grandchildren, Stephanie and Rocco Fazio.
A private service was held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue. Burial will be in St. Vitus Cemetery.
