Sandy N. Mangino

Sandy N. Mangino, Jr., 77, of Hunters Woods Blvd., died Thursday afternoon, November 1, 2007 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He was born June 26, 1930 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a son of the late Sandy and Ann (Rotunno) Mangino. He married Edith J. ‘Gig’ (Pratt) Mangino on December 2, 1950. She survives in New Castle. Mr. Mangino was President of Sandra Corp. in North Praire, WI for 10 years. He previously worked for W.R. Grace Corp. as a Regional Manager and Polyfoam Packers Corp. as a Consultant. He was an avid golfer and sports fan and a member of the Kiwanis Club in Addison, IL. Mr. Mangino was also a community servant for many years in Friars Cove, IL.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by, one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Lynn) Porchetta of Milwaukee, WI, one son, Gary Mangino and his wife Jan of Pewaukee, WI, one brother, Charles Mangino of New Castle, PA, one sister, Palma Argiro of Mt. Jackson, PA and five grandchildren, Anthony Porchetta of Milwaukee, WI, Mrs. Brent (Keeli) Johnson of Sheboygan, WI, Leah Mangino of Cleveland, WI, Mrs. Jason (Lauren) Knight of Milwaukee, WI and Mrs. David (Stephanie) Block of Fond Du Lac, WI.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Mangino and Thomas Mangino.

Visitation will be held at the St. Vincent de Paul Church on Saturday, November 3, 2007 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Father Kenneth Keene of St. Vincent de Paul Parish will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Lucy Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
