Madeline Rose Richardson

Madeline Rose Richardson, 84, of Golden Hill Nursing Home, formerly of N. Jefferson St., died Wednesday morning, November 21, 2007 at Golden Hill Nursing Home in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born August 25, 1923 in New Castle, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Floyd and Ida (Palone) DeGilio. She was married to Lee A. Richardson, who died on April 11, 2006. Mrs. Richardson worked in the Marketing Department of Strouss-Hirsberg for 10 years. She also worked at JC Penney for 6 years.
She is survived by one brother, Tony DeGilio of New Castle, PA, one sister, Genevieve Gallagher of New Castle, PA and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John DeGilio, Arthur DeGilio, and an Infant brother, and four sisters, Carmela Chiafullo, Angeline DeLorenzo, Lucretia Vaughn and Eleanor DeGilio.
Visitation will be held at the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home on Friday, November 23, 2007 from 9 am to 11 am.
A Blessing Service will be held Friday, November 23, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at William F. DeCarbo Memorial Chapel. Father Robert Zajdel will be officiating. Burial will be in the St. Vitus Cemetery.
