Margaret M. Giancola

Margaret M. Giancola, 82, of Ashberry Lane, New Castle, died Friday morning, July 15, 2005 at Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She was born September 10, 1922 in New Castle, Pennsylvania the daughter of Andrea ‘Mulligan’ and Mary (Russo) DeAngelis, they precede her in death. She was married to Bernard C. Giancola who died April 3, 2005. Mrs. Giancola worked as a credit manager for Jack Gerson Jewelry Store and at Richmond Brothers Clothes Store in New Castle for many years. Later she retired from Liberty Mutual as a claims processor. She was a member of the St. Camillus Church and various clubs and organizations in the area. Mrs. Giancola was an avid reader, loved doing needle point and playing cards and enjoyed cooking.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. William (Berneta A.) Gebhardt of Pittsburgh, PA, one brother, John DeAngelis of New Castle, PA, one sister-in-law, Esther Janacone of New Castle, PA and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Private Funeral Service was conducted by Father Phil Farrell of St. Camillus Church. Burial will be in the Castle View Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home.
